The BioIndustry Association (BIA) is the trade association for innovative enterprises in the UK's bioscience sector. As the voice of UK bioscience, it is active in representing the sector and its needs to audiences, from patient groups to regional, national and pan-European governments.
Aitua’s CEO, Dr Catherine Beech, is Chair of the BIA’s Fledgling Club which supports, nurtures and assists the new emerging companies of today to become UK success stories of tomorrow. In establishing the Fledgling Club, the BIA has tailored a package of services to meet the specific needs of the Fledgling Club members, including mentoring and advice on communications strategy and regulatory affairs.
