The company is situated in the bio incubator on Babraham Research Campus giving easy access to world class research emerging from Cambridge University, Addenbrookes Hospital and the Research Council Institutes at the Sanger Centre and Babraham. This enables Aitua to have a close relationship with BBSRC and access to specialised networks and facilities.
Aitua has an exclusive 10-year pipeline agreement with the Babraham Institute giving it the right to form companies around novel intellectual property created at the Institute.
Aitua has freedom to invest in world class deals wherever they originate.
It has alliances with IP development Partners
including academic institutions and R&D rich corporations. These provide
the source of emerging IP for both portfolio companies and new investments.
